Engineer focused on { practical, durable } software.

Hi, I'm France Patrick Lodonia — a software engineer from Mactan, Cebu. I've spent the last few years working across frontend, backend, mobile, and DevOps, and I enjoy being the person who can follow a problem wherever it leads.

What I care about most is software that keeps working after launch day. I pay attention to the unglamorous parts — clean releases, knowing when something breaks, code the next person can actually understand. It's less exciting than the demo, but it's what I'm proud of.

Outside of work you'll find me taking photos, editing videos, or playing basketball. They're my way of switching off — though they've probably made me a little obsessive about timing and the small details.

Core Capabilities

product-engineering.ts

Product Engineering

I like taking a product the whole way — from the first sketch to something running in production. That means designing systems that won't fall over, owning the hard technical calls, and shipping releases clean enough that the next person (often future me) can actually work with them.

data-integrations.ts

Data & Integrations

A lot of my work is getting systems to talk to each other — across relational and document databases, and on both microservices and monolithic architectures, whichever actually fits. I've spent real time wiring ERP data into the places people need it, building the APIs and integrations that quietly hold everything together.

mobile-delivery.ts

Mobile Delivery

I build mobile apps that go where the work happens — cross-platform and native, often for field teams who need them to just work, offline or on. I package everything in containerized setups so deploys stay predictable instead of being a small adventure each time.

workflow-automation.ts

Workflow Automation

I have a low tolerance for repetitive busywork, so I automate it. That's scripting the boring operational stuff, building little internal tools that save people clicks, and lately leaning on AI to smooth out the parts of a process that used to eat everyone's afternoon.

Beyond the Code

When I step away from the keyboard I usually reach for a camera. I love chasing good light and waiting for that one frame where the timing just lands. The same itch follows me into video editing, where I can happily lose an evening trimming a cut until it finally feels right.

Basketball is my reset button. Nothing clears a stubborn bug out of my head quite like running the court for an hour, and I will admit the competitiveness probably leaks back into how I work too.

And when I want to switch off completely, I am gaming. I grew up on Dota and CS:GO and still jump back in, NBA 2K whenever I miss the court, and pretty much any big AAA title worth getting lost in for a weekend. Different worlds, same reason. They keep me curious and they keep things fun.
